Cancel unpaid orders after follow-ups

Kindly allows you to schedule automatic cancellation of orders that remain unpaid after your follow-up reminders have been sent. This helps keep your order management clean and efficient.

Enable order cancellation in reminder plan settings

To set up automatic cancellation:

  1. Navigate to Reminder plans > Your reminder plan.

  2. Scroll down to the Cancellation option and enable it.

  3. Choose how long Kindly should wait after the last reminder is sent before cancelling the order.

Additional cancellation options

When enabling cancellation, you can also configure the following options:

  • Restock order items: Automatically restock the items from the cancelled order back into your inventory.

  • Send Shopify cancellation email: Notify customers by sending the standard Shopify cancellation email.

  • Refund the order: Issue refunds for partially paid orders.

Enabling this option helps automate order management and reduces manual cleanup of unpaid or abandoned orders.
